A heavily traveled section of road near State College was closed for nearly two hours on Monday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash.
North Atherton Street in Patton Township was closed between Valley Vista Drive and Colonnade Boulevard starting at around 12:45 p.m. and reopened around 2:30 p.m., the township wrote on its Facebook page.
Traffic was still backed up after the road reopened, and drivers were advised to use caution.
Centre County dispatch reported a three-vehicle crash with entrapment at about 12:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of North Atherton Street.
